Police Internship Day 7

• Received a compliment on my hair. Noticed a funny difference in how the guys there commented on my hair and how the ladies did. Most guys? Your hair looks different. I thought it was long. Ladies? I like your hair. It looks nice. It looks cute.
• Sat with a secretary.
• Rode around with a police officer. Watched him be all police officery.
• Went back to PD.
• Ate lunch.
• Went with Detective U to go be all detectivey.
• For the second time someone has said something about me being the officer/detective/whatever police person I am with their daughter.
• Not much detectivey stuff happened.

Police Internship Day 6

• First day after my haircut. Was able to fix it and make it look good.
• Got there right at 9.
• Went to a few places with Detective U. Saw him be all detectivey at those few places.
• Went to lunch with a few people. Was told by DU that he was surprised I wasn’t pickier or something and was like actually eating more than he thought I would (?).  I don’t know what he meant exactly, but maybe something about me being quiet/shy/girl(not eating or whatever in front of guys.) Umm…. I kind of like food and would never diet and don’t really care who i’m eating in front of. Also, girls who don’t like eating in front of boys are wierd.
• Talked about music with DU. He thinks I have crap taste in music. What-ev Jonas Brothers are the greatest! I didn’t actually tell him I like the Jonas Brothers. I did tell him I went to a Jessica Simpson concert. I’m thinking that I will stick to telling anyone there that I like country music and not Britney Spears/Miley Cyrus/Other stuff that they probably think is the worst stuff ever.
• During the talk about music I was once again asked what year I was born. (Answer: 1987) After I told him that he said something about the song that we were listening to being from like fiveish years before I was born. Umm… Most of the music we listened to seemed to be. I think the newest song I heard was from like 1997.
• Also, I agree that Kanye West the person annoying, but his music entertaining, fun, danceable.
• I might actually get to see the entire process of a thing from start to finish.
• I might be getting a badge thing tomorrow.
• Walked home. It was super nice outside.

I have short hair!

Police Department Internship Day 5

• Woke up early enough to exercise in the morning.
• Went there at 9am.
• Got there before Detective U.
• Sat in dispatch.
• DU showed me stuff.
• Went to a place and watched him be all detectivey.
• Went back to PD.
• Went back to place. Detective and cop were all detectivey and copy.
• Went to lake county jail.
• Got a tour of the jail.
• Came back to PD.
• Listened to some people talk.
• Realized that as long as I have a pink purse or probably any purse someone will probably make a comment
• Talked to DU about tomorrow. Will be with him again.
• Went home.
• Getting a hair cut tonight. Yay!

Am I the only one who likes Jessica Alba?

I was looking at something online earlier and there was a picture of her. I was reading the comments and a lot of them were people saying they don’t like her. Some people said that they liked her dress, but they didn’t like it because it was on her and they don’t like her. A few people talked about how she is never smiling a lot and doesn’t look super happy. Some other people were talking about her bangs and how they look better then before, but still not good.

My thoughts?: I liked her dress. I thought it looked good on her. It would probably be kind of annoying to have random paparazzi following you and taking pictures and at an awards thing having a bunch of cameras there taking your picture well wouldn’t your mouth get tired of being really really smiley? I always thought her bangs looked good. When she first got them and people were like oh she looks terrible blagh blagh blagh I disagreed. I thought they look nice. I liked them enough that it made me want to get bangs and I did and both of our bangs look good.

I don’t really understand where the whole disliking Jessica Alba comes from.
