Police Department Internship Day 3

• Got there at 10am.
• Went into dispatch room.
• Guy I met on Tuesday (DG: dispatch guy) was in there.
• DG explained things to me.
• Sit in chair. Read blogs. Twitter. Play Audi A4 and Flood it on iPhone.
• Lunch at 1:30: Peanut butter and strawberry jelly and water. Thought of something I wanted to ask DU (detective/supervisor person). Thought I heard his voice while eating lunch. When I was done eating I went to his desk and he wasn’t there.
• Went back with dispatch.
• DU came to dispatch. Talked to him for a bit.
• Starting next week I will be with the detectives for the entire month of June.
• DU said I could leave early.
• Thought about walking home. Not that far, but I can’t remember if there are sidewalks the whole way going down the main road. There are.
• I think on days when I get off and it’s not late/dark I will walk home. If I do that then Yay! for sunshine and exercise!
• Have decided that tomorrow and Saturday I am going to bring a book. Maybe East of Eden. Probably. It’s my favorite.

Help me learn to knit.

I have wanted to do this for-like-ever. Whenever I look at stuff online or in stores there is so much stuff and I have no idea what to get. There are a million different beginner learn to knit books, but I don’t know which one is the best to get. There are also a million different size stick things and I have no idea what they are all for. I think there is also different types of yarn to use, but I don’t know what it is for.

*Please don’t leave a comment saying to go to a website or store because they have all sorts o information. I have looked at websites and stores and they have too much information that I don’t know exactly what to do with it all. IFyou could tell me specific things th would be wonderful. Specific: Types of Yarn, Books that are good, Size sticks, (name of the sticks). If you tell me something specific and where I could get it from that would be super wonderful.

*My way of saying “All the random things I thought today.”

1. The political science girl wasn’t annoying today.
2. This semester: 2 papers, 1 internship stuff, 1 grad school stuff, 1 debate panel, 5 classes.
3. This semester kind of sucks.
4. 1 class mondays and fridays at 11am. Yay!
5. Watching parts of the godfather in my organized crime class has made me want to read the book.
6. I have never seen the godfather and still have no desire to see it. I prefer books.
7. #’s 5 & 6 should have been in the same number. Oh well.
8. I had to watch a movie in my Wednesday night ethics class. The class is 2hrs 45min long. (It’s once a week.) It’s hard to stay awake.
9. I wish the numbers didn’t indent.
10. I think I have an unrealistic image of what I should look like.
11. I should fix that.
12. I have no desire to study or learn anything anymore. ☜ That is bad.
13. I should fix that too.
14. I can’t end on the # 13 so I will stop here.
15. But, I like multiples of five so 15 will be the end.

Twilight?

I feel like the only person who hasn’t read it. I’ve read enough about it, but I still have no interest in it. I have also seen pictures online for it. I guess it must be a tv show or movie at sometime in the future? Seeing the pale weird looking vampire guy does not make me want to see or read it. I also read that he is like super attractive and great but I don’t see it. I guess I will just be the weird loner who pours pixie sticks on her potato chip sandwich in this particular thing.
