Hello Jello

Goodbye Pudding

Im kind of over my dad.

Is that bad?

When I came home from school I sent my dad a text telling him I was home. I also called him. I called K and talked to her about possibly trying to get together with them and doing something. She said that they would call me back. They never did. I have now been home for a monthish. I still haven’t gotten a call. The last time I saw him was when I came home for Easter/my birthday. Fathers day is soon. I will probably have to do something with him then. I kind of don’t know if I want to. It would be nice if he called me and said he could do something for fathers day, but at the same time why hasn’t he called me yet when I have been home for so long. Part of me would be happy because yay my dad hasn’t forgotten he has a daughter. Another part of me just thinks he sucks. When they said that they would call me later about doing something and they never dos that made me kind of mad. If there was some reason that they couldn’t do anything and were busy and called me to tell me then it wouldn’t be that bad. Them not calling or texting or anything since then is really sucky of them.

The Mom List

  1. She bought Dexter (Dog.) to replace me. (She bought him my senior year of highschool I was going away to college. She jokingly said this now I like to say that she has replaced me with a dog.)
  2. She said I couldn’t fit in skinny  jeans. (I don’t know exactly what she thought skinny jeans were, but she knew enough to tell me I should find some other jeans because those might not fit. Now she knows what they are, but I still say she called me fat.)
  3. She gave me an empty bag for my birthday. (She ordered me something from Amazon and it hasn’t come yet. That doesn’t mean i’m not going to tell everyone my mom gave me an empty bag for my birthday.)
  4. When picking me up from college and move me back home for the summer the first thing she said to me is my hair is frizzy and asked if I washed my face because of pimples/zits. (She didn’t even say hi first.)

*A list of things I like to annoy my mom about.
*Things she has said or done that are too fun not to bring up at every opportunity.

I waste too much time on the internet.

Love Lock - When couples get married they attach a lock to a bridge and throw the key into the river below. Aww. I wanna do that.

Cookies By Design - This is where my mom ordered me cookies from for my birthday. So so very yummy.

World’s Smallest Puppy - Way too adorable. Everytime I see pictures of puppies it makes me want one.

Accidental Animal Appearances -Ha.

Birthday & Easter

Last year I didn’t go home for Easter or my birthday. This year I kind of really wanted to. It was nice to be home.

Friday: Dinner with my dad. Even though it started off slightly annoying it was good. I got home sometime around 2ish. I called my dad on the phone to tell him that I was going to be home early and that mom could take me to his house rather than go home first. He said we could just hang out later around 5. I’m sooo glad that rather than see me for a few more hours and only having to make one trip to my house didn’t happen and we hung out for less time. I talked to him sometime before I came home and told him that I would probably be home kind of early so we could maybe get together around 2 or 3. Even though I told him that ahead of time he stil didn’t want to until later. Oh well. Kind of annoying, but I am learning to care less so I guess that’s good. It still sucks though. We went to eat at Chilis. Then we went back to his house and saw Vacancy 2. I never saw the first one, but the second one was okay.

Saturday: Stayed home. Did laundry. Played with the puppies and kitty.

Sunday: Sister, A, Grandma, Uncle, & Cousin came over for Easter/Birthday. Cousin had her tonsils out so she could only eat ice cream. I had an atomic cake for my birthday. If you haven’t had one you should definately have one. Three layers of cake with bananas and strawberries in it. Oh. My. Gawd. So. Incredibly. Yummy. We sat around the kitchen and were talking about fourth of July. We are all going down to Indiana Beach where my uncle has a house. It is going to be So. Much. Fun. I’m excited. My mom gave me an envelope and a bag. I opened the bag and it was empty. I was confused. She told me that she felt bad not giving me something since what she ordered from Amazon hasn’t come yet. Ha. I told her I was going to make a list of all the things she has done or said that I can bug her about. (This would be #3.) My sister forgot my present at her house. She said she would mail it to me. It’s fine that she did that because when  it was her birthday I gave her a present about a month late. Ha. Stepdad had to go down to Indianapolis so I went back to school with him. Nothing to say about that except it was a long boring drive.

The Mom List will probably be in the post right after this.

Care. Don’t care. Care. Don’t care. Care..

Don’t care.

Trying to make myself care about things is kind of hard. Seriously? I just want to quit. There isn’t a single part of me that wants to do anything. I’m over it all. Last week I talked with J about a lot of stuff and kind of totally worried him. Then I worried myself wondering if I should have even told him what I was thinking. I think I can trust him not to tell anyone though. Maybe he has already forgotten about it. That would be kind of nice. Talking about things doesn’t really matter much if you don’t actually do anything though. I need to go start doing stuff…

and I really need to quit this whole whiny thing. I just need to remember that I am dramatic and things probably aren’t as bad as I think they are. Just stop and see how awesome things actually are. There are a lot of good things so I shouldn’t focus on all the blagh.

Why things are awesome:

  1. I’m 22.
  2. I’m going home for Easter/My birthday on Friday.
  3. Summer is almost here.
  4. Pets: Bella (dog) Dexter (dog) Einstein (cat) Hero (dog)
  5. Michael Buckley left a comment on my blog telling me happy birthday.
  6. Another comment said that I was 22 and I have probably never looked better. (Shallow & Stupid I know, but compliments are always nice.)
  7. There are still 7ish cookies left from my cookie bouquet that I got for my birthday.
  8. Having my own room allows me to dance pantless in my room as ridiculous as I want.
