Hello Jello

Goodbye Pudding

Police Department Internship Day 25

In car from 10am-6pm.

First officer: Stopped someone. Wrote him a warning. I got to fill out the warning ticket.

Second Officer: He told me a lot of stuff about guns. I knew absolutely nothing about guns before our talk. He explained the different kind of bullets and guns. Apparently they have these soap filled bullet things that they use for training. They went to the highschool and did a training for a school shooting type thing. The soap things can fit into all (I think) guns. It’s kind of like paintballs only with soap and they break easily. He talked to me for kind of a while about guns and bullets and all that stuff. He even took apart the gun and showed me what exactly happens. That was probably my favorite thing that happened today.

  2. Um OK? Shouldn’t the police already know about this?

  3. Sounds like a great day! I can’t even begin to imagine how much there is to learn when you’re starting out as a police officer. Good on you!
