Hello Jello

Goodbye Pudding

Apparently i’m weird

  • Getting drunk
  • Having sex
  • Getting married after dating for a few years

Those are things that makes people think i’m weird. If I am talking to people about those things and tell them that i’m not doing them or don’t want to do them then they seem surprised. Have I ever had alcohol before? Yes. Do I want to get really really drunk ever? No. I don’t judge or care if you want to do that. I just don’t. Have I had sex before? Nope. People seem surprised at that. This is usually the one they are most suprised about. Apparently it is so normal for everyone to be having sex that when someone meets someone who isn’t they are like very suprised. Do I want to get married? Eventually. The last year that I was dating J everyone asked when we were getting married. I was perfectly fine dating for a while and not getting married. People also said that we dated for so long and stuff. Like, we only dated for about 2 1/2 years when people started asking about getting married. I don’t get why after only dating for two years we suddenyl are supposed to get married. Why is dating for a long time like bad?

  1. before i comment here i just have to tell you that just a moment ago i noticed that the comic type picture you had of yourself freaked me out with the moving eyes! whew. okay. calming down now.

anyhow, personally (and i am NO authority on the topic) think it is admirable that you don’t drink much, have never had sex and haven’t tied the knot yet.

there is no reason in the world why people need to rush marriage or think that it is better than dating. we, as a society, are always in rush and also pushing people to fit into these boxes that they clearly don’t wanna be in and don’t fit into. why? not sure.

wait till the day you do get married if you decide to. a couple months later, people will be asking ‘when you having a baby’?
